help

Naturopathic medicine.

and

Vice Versa!!!!!!

If you feel you

need a

anti-biotic

DO IT!

But along with that

take

Garlic!

Drink LOTS of WATER!

and take some herbs to

help the anti-biotic

do its thang!

I am grateful

for the

Anti-Seizure Medications

that Zella was on.

They made the seizures stop!

They gave me time to find what

I

needed.

The herbs

with the

medications

I think just helped

each other

work

stronger!

If you are

taking

herbs

have

FAITH

in them!

If you have any

doubt

that they will not work

they most likely

will not.

Also

be CONSISTENT!

If you feel that cold a comin'

start taking that

garlic

several times a day!

and don't stop for

several days!

but

more importantly

you must

BELIEVE!!!!!!

Did I mention that Zella was fully breastfed too?

Great eater!

Vaccines you ask!

She Is partially vaccinated.

We did it the slow way and paused after the seizures for a moment.

People always tell me that they think that her seizures were caused from them...

I don't believe so.

(I don't like to talk about vaccines too much...It is a very personal matter and I think it should be very well thought over with you your significant other(if there is one) and your health care provider AND be prayerful about it! Then listen to your gut!)

~*Story #3*~

After the whole experience with being in

the hospital for a month of our lives

It made me think...

Are these my only options?

I was grateful from all the help from the nurses

and the time that the Doctors gave to us to figure out

After praying diligently

I did some looking online and found

a school.

of natural healing.

After such a long time of pokes and unanswered questions

we needed healing.

I first took Zella too a health care practitioner

Cori Pevney

An amazing lady guided by the spirit and amazing with healing with His Light!

She helps with generational healing.

She has helped Zack heal.

She helped Zella heal.

Cori put it that one of Zella's Grandmothers's

a few generations past

had gone though some really spiritual experience

passing through generation to generation

when it came to Zella

her little body couldn't handle it anymore

and caused the seizures.

Makes complete sense!

I then started taking the herbal courses

by Dr. Christopher in Springville, UT

They were eye opening.

Sometimes overwhelming.

None of us are perfect.

We can't eat perfect

but we sure can try.

I believe we are what we eat.

If there is a sickness going on in the body

Where do you start?

What is in your diet?

then

How are your bowel movements? (fun I know but one of the best places to start and get a problem solved!!!! SERIOUSLY!)

So with Zella

She was only on breast milk.(I was eating pretty healthy!)

Bowels pretty decent

Let's give her some things to help

heal the nervous system!

(With these I was always in touch with our neurologist and I was always very prayerful about them. If I did not get a strong GOOD feeling about something I would never try just anything on myself OR my children!!)

I first came across

the tincture

Ear and Nerve (By Dr.Christopher)

tincture,

a plant extract made by soaking herbs in a liquid

(such as water, alcohol, vinegar, or glycerine)

for a specified length of time, then straining and

discarding the plant material.

The remaining liquid is used therapeutically.

Tinctures typically are made at

a concentration of 1:5 to 1:10.

How do you use this?

Well it's easy!

This tincture can be taken

orally

or

externally

Since the problem is in the nerves

how do we get there the fastest?

The ear!

So every night or depending on how severe you can do it through out the day. But always at night.

for Zella it was 3 -5 drops in the ear every night followed by a cotton ball to help it recirculate.

This was almost too easy of a fix!

I didn't question it

Not even for a second!

The herbs were put on this earth for a reason

and now that I knew which ones were to help cure that part of the body it only rang true to me that this would work!

I forgot to mention Zella was a horrible sleeper

Every night she would always wake up screaming/crying!

not just once

but

twice

3x's

and sometimes more.

That same night I gave her

those drops she didn't

wake up

screaming in the night!

it only got better!

The next thing I found was

Relax-Eze also by Dr. Christopher

This one is great for healing the base of the neck

Anything to do with the

spinal cord

helps rebuild any nerves that are

frayed

or need repair.

Perfect!

Seizures are the nerves

miss-firing!

Sounds right on to me!

Zella started taking 7 drops

in milk

2x's a day!

She not only slept better

She just seemed happier!

~Fast forward to a year later~

Now with talking to our

pediatrician

Zella was now seizure free for a

Year!

YAY!!!!!!

it was time to wean her off the

trileptal!

We never had to increase the dosage

I knew this would be great for her!

she was only taking 1 ML....

a very tiny amount!

so every week we would go down

it was over before we knew it!

She did great and has been seizure

free

for

3 1/2 YEARs!!!!!

YAY!!!!

I continued to give her the herbs until she was

and

every once and a while

I'll still give them to her

just to be safe.

SIDE NOTE

The Ear and Nerve that you put in the ear

it is GREAT for the ears!

My kids have never had ear infections

EVER

I give all the credit to the

Hello world wide web!

I thought I would tell about my history and life!

I must WARN I am not a Doctor!(YET! HEE HEE)

With all that I say always consult your physician if you want to try anything that I have tried!

I am who I am and this is

ME!!

Onto the stories!!!

I have 2 kids!

Zella 3

Enzo 18mo

and a ZACK!(older than the hills ha!)

I am a LDS Member and believe in GOD!

He has helped me heal inside and out.

I have always been conscious of my health.

Starting at a young age I had to have several knee surgeries

followed a few years later by a in-depth problems with my parathyroids.

After having surgery on my throat and then almost having open heart surgery to fix my parathyroid issue. It miraculously went away!

Always being cautious of what I was eating I have experimented with all sorts of ways. (Vegetarian, Vegan to RAW foodist-

I claim to be none of the above. We eat meat now just in moderation and in times of famine!)

AND always being drug(not counting mild use of antibiotics) and alcohol FREE!

~MY 1st Story~

With the birth of my 1st child-

Its the end of DECEMBER

I didn't know what a "natural birth" was

I didn't know really anything...

I knew that I would be in a hospital

I knew there would be my Dr that I had been going to

*This Dr I never felt totally comfortable with...I ignored those feelings that you get when you shouldn't do something...I now KNOW better!!!*

That was it.

The pain was fine.

but then where was the Dr the whole time?

OH he only comes at the end.

Things were increasing

Nurse checks me one last time.

PANIC look...

"That's not here head coming down"

Dr finally arrives...

"Sorry I'm late, I had church things to do(tithing settlement...It's important but really???????)"

another nurse running in with a ultra sound machine

"yup that not her head!"

"You will now be having an emergency c-section(she was in a breech position)"

That's what they should have said!

all of a sudden being drugged with

anesthetic and

not being able to move

not exactly knowing what was going on

and being scared for my life.

and this new baby to come!

Zella came just fine just being folded in half!

~My friend once said that breech babies just want to stay close to their mommies heart and help their mommies be loved! Makes total sense of why they are in that position when that's said! but

that is Zella in a nut shell!*notice pic!*~

I ended up being just fine too.

I slowly crawled away wondering about this whole experience.

What do these Dr's really know?

~2nd Story~

Almost to the day that Zella turned 4 month's old we were welcomed by the lovely

Seizures

I didn't know what they were!

and guess what!

My Dr(who was the one that delivered her*why did I not get the hint the 1st time*) said that it was acid reflux....

WRONG

After being in the hospital in Payson for over a week with no insight of what was going on with my baby they released us.

Zella still having seizures....

Only when she was sleeping...

Every hour....

On the hour....

We drove immediately to Primary Children's Medical Center in SLC

Almost being shrugged off again the Dr to come in

Knew me from my home town

Logan

He had worked at the local grocery store

*Blessing*

He got us on to the neurological team

They immediately got things going

A month later....

they diagnosed it as

Epileptic Seizures.

No source of

Where

or

Why

they happen.

Zella had been put on at least 15 different things, had 2 taps, x-rays, CT scans, you name if she had it done.

Why did it take so long to figure out they were seizures?

Why did they have to put her on sooo many different things

with who know what of side effects?

WHY??

We left with her on only 2 medications.

Trilepal

and

Phenobarbital

I found a new pediatrician!

She was great!

She was thorough!

She was what every mother needs!

We weaned Zella off the phenobarbital

YAY!

BUT I needed answers.....

I'm leaving a lot out. In later posts I'll touch back on these stories. I still have a lot to learn from these experiences!
